Man united started the game well with a lovely screamer from Marcus Rashford who has recently been criticized for his recent ran of form. For a minute, the Red Devils fans started to believe that they could actually go ahead and clinch a win at the Etihad stadium as they headed into the half leading by the solitary goal.

Man city are known to be lethal once they fall behind and they definitely did not let their fans down in the second half. They came out all guns blazing and seemed to totally overwhelm Man united who looked out of depth.
Two sublime goals from Phil Foden and one from Haaland sealed the fate of the game which saw a 3-1 home win for Man city.
This win left them where they were before matchday 27, 1 point behind Liverpool, who lead the race to the title.
